SAPgui for Mac 7.40 is the latest recommended release of the Mac SAPgui software. It supports users who need to access SAP components, products, and Dynpro functionality. This document was written based on the Mac OSX Mavericks (10.10.2) operating system with Java JDK 8. Update 40 installed. The filenames of the Java JDK and SAP GUI may differ than those shown in the screenshots. Aug 14, 2017 SAP GUI for Java 7.50 is now available for download. According to note 147519 SAP GUI 750 will be out of support by 31st March 2020 so we recommend using SAP GUI 760 which has full support up to 12th April 2022. - SAP GUI and BEx Frontend must have the same version (for e.g. SAP GUI 7.50 fits to BI Add-On based on 7.50)
- Its strongly recommended to use the latest patches of SAP GUI and BEx Frontend.

3 - (Re)installation steps:
- uninstall the Frontend and SAP GUI
Windows > Start > Control Panel > Program and Features > remove
- SAP Business Explorer
- SAP GUI for Windows 7.x
- SAP BW Preclaculation Service (only on Precalculation Server) - make sure that these folders are deleted:

- select/install ..
