Horray for new updates! We've completely changed the redesign of the Myphotoboothapp to reflect the new additions to the app!
First and foremost, you can now edit your photos border all you want within the app! Sharing the same capabilities of sharing via Facebook, Email, or Printing; we've also added new layouts! Now you can have 1 photo, 4 photos, or 3 photo strips to choose from!
We're releasing this build early due to the latest IOS 13 release so we are currently still wrapping squashing some small bugs. What a Reunion Success!
As we were driving to the reunion, I downloaded and setup this app on my iPad in under 10 minutes. Then once onsite, I tweaked the tripod positioning and WiFi printer setup and voila! I didn’t have enough time to figure out how to set my own border, but would have liked the ability to set a simple background color.
Everyone loved the ability to print their own keepsake and to also post to our reunion Facebook group! I love having them all in my photo folder!
My only enhancement would be to add a shutter click sound when it takes the picture after the countdown! Best $10 I ever spent!
Perfect. with minor flaws
I really enjoyed this app. I used it for a graduation party and it was a hit. Very easy to use and print. Guest were also able to email the photos and facebook them as well. I was also able to lock the iPad to this single app so i didnt have to worry about someone pressing the home button. Why 4 stars and not 5? Well, aside from the pros I did have some problems. First, since this was for a grad party I wanted to customize the borders, which i was, but took me a while to figure it out. I would ask for the developers to give a tutorial video or more detailed instructions on how to design my own frame. KEEP IN MIND the app does offer premade borders to choose from but they are not customizable unless you use the online software which can be found on the application website. Secondly, when printing the photos i found that the top two pictures fit perfectly in their frames but the bottom two cut off slightly and the bottom. This problem wasnt to noticable but i feel should be adressed. Overall though the app was worth the price and time. Definately a must if youre on a budget.
Great for Graduation Party
I bought this app for my graduation party this week and it was perfect! I contacted support and they helped me design a border for my event, which helped immensely!! I loved that I was also able to set up a printer and print the photos for the guests right after they took it. I had a whole Photo Booth backdrop set up for this event and was a bit nervous that there might be issues, but everything went smoothly the day of and I’m really happy with this purchase! It’s honestly the best Photo Booth I’ve used for the price.

What’s New
We are pleased to announce we've added our most requested feature: printing your photostrip multiple times per page.
In the past, your photostrip would be printed by itself in the middle of the page. Now you can select 2-up or 3-up prints which means the current photostrip gets printed in duplicate or triplicate on the same page. This way, you waste less paper, and you can share your extra strips with friends at your event. This feature is included in the Event Pack (formerly Party Pack) in-app purchase. Those of you who have already purchased this item will get this feature for free. Also included in the Event Pack is the ability to add some padding to any of the edges of the strip(s) when printing. This helps account for variations in printers and ensures your strips don't get accidentally cut off when printing.
We've also made a few updates to ensure things continue to run smoothly with iOS 12.

I have had this app for ages on my phone, but just installed it on my ipad pro & am happy to find that it works just as great! Maybe even better!

Mixed bag
4 hours into a trial with this app, and to this point it is very much a mixed bag with most features working as advertised, but cannot MMS to a mobile number. Can email photo strips just fine but cannot MMS. With virtually zero online instruction other than a few FAQ, it is trial and error. Grateful that Tim has responded but regret a lack of progress getting this resolved.
Have reviewed iPad settings and not seeing anything amiss.
I worked in tech support many years and appreciate the frustrations on both ends when things do not work as advertised.
Update: our goal is for attendees to be able to send images to their mobile devices using a mobile number. Tech support has just given a well-detailed explanation of why the iOS is working against our goal, so it seems clear that this is an iOS issue and not an issue with the app.
My suggestion is that the developers give more info on the front end to create realistic expectations and avoid frustration, but otherwise I do appreciate the effort.

Hi Tam, I know we emailed extensively following your purchase of this app, but I wanted to leave a few notes here for future buyers.
We give as much information as we think is helpful on the front end, but we are always learning. The particular issue you encountered was the first time we saw it and as a result there was nothing in our FAQ. We have since added information about it in the FAQ.
Because there is no way we can possibly anticipate every scenario our customers will run into, we pride ourselves on prompt, friendly, and thorough customer support via email, which I believe you benefitted from.
At the end of the day, the issue you encountered is due to MMS on the iPad being reliant on pairing a phone (and its number) to the iPad in order to send text messages to non-iOS devices. This is a limitation of the iPad.
You say that 'most features' worked as advertised - were there other problems you encountered? We'd love to know about them.
Great app! Just missing countdown feature
I bought the app along with the party mode option and have been playing with it before we take it live for out wedding. I'm thrilled to have a viable option to diy our own booth versus renting one for hundreds! It's printed flawlessly and I love how it's customizable. The one thing missing is an on screen countdown to let you know when the picture is about to take. Is there an option to show it that I'm just missing? If not, could you add that feature in?

Hi Bethy. Thanks for the kind words. We don't plan on adding a countdown only because the historic booths this app is based on didn't have a countdown. But we're not just being stubborn - we think the lack of a countdown actually added to the charm of the old booths and helped catch subjects in unguarded moments. The original booths did have a red light behind the glass that would turn on as if to say 'freeze! photo coming'. Our app dutifully replicates the behavior of that light. Hope that helps!
