Hello all, I have a brand new NI USB-6501, and I'm looking for some help with operation. I am running OS X 10.11.1, LabVIEW 2013 SP 1, NI-VISA 15.0, and NI-DAQmx Base 15.0.0. Likewise, if the green LED on the USB-6008/6009/6501/621x is not blinking, it does not necessarily mean the device is malfunctioning; it may mean that the device is simply not initialized. This could be because the device is connected to a computer that does not have NI-DAQmx installed. I've just purchased a USB-6501, and am just looking for a simple example for Labview to write to a few USB-6501 outputs, from LabVIEW 8.2. The few references I've found on the NI site tell me to go through 'Find Examples', but even by following the references exactly, it doesn't lead me to anything about the USB-6501 or anything like it!
